Dr. Linda Shin

Dr Shin is a dentist with over 30 years of experience, known for her expertise in endodontic therapy and patient comfort. Born and raised in Michigan, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan. She then decided to move out West and completed a general dentistry residency at the Veterans Administration in San Francisco.

Dr. Shin began her career as a cosmetic general dentist, owning a successful practice in San Francisco’s Financial District and Union Square. During this time, she was also teaching at The University of California, San Francisco as a clinical faculty member.
In 2001, Dr. Shin relocated to New York City, where she continued to practice general dentistry and joined Columbia University’s School of Dental Medicine as an associate faculty member. Inspired to deepen her expertise, she went on to specialize in endodontic therapy at Columbia University, while teaching part-time in the Endodontic Graduate Clinic.

Committed to providing exceptional care, Dr. Shin stays current with the latest techniques and materials through board review courses and continuing education. Her focus is to excl in her technique, but also to make sure every patient is comfortable, and the treatment is pain-free. Her focus on pain management ensures maximum patient comfort. 

Outside of work, Dr. Shin enjoys spending time with her three children and two Shiba Inus in Westchester County. She has a passion for the culinary arts, travel, and a newfound interest in classical music.
